History of Innovation

QFS New Zealand’s innovative practices started over 100 years ago, thanks to Annie Millar, an industrious and proactive lady. Her approach to product and company development established the foundations for QFS New Zealand to become the innovative company that it is today. Click here to view our company history.

QFS New Zealand currently has five major product areas: Pastry, Sauce, Croissant, Danish and Biscuit and Cookie Mix. These products have arisen from our adaptation to market driven needs and our ability to adopt new practices, processes and mechanisms.

Diversification of our product range from the days of bread making has seen our product base grow nationally and internationally.

Expanding into an international market in 1981, we customised our product range to the needs in an international market and have been exporting our growing range of products ever since to an ever expanding number of countries around the world.

Today: QFS New Zealand works continuously in search of new products to suit clients and consumers’ needs as the market develops and demand changes. We have a team of staff dedicated to innovation and facilities including a test bakery available for this purpose.
